| A Big Fuck You to the U of T Bookstore |

So I check the U of T bookstore and get an online quote for $38 dollars for the book I paid over $80 for at the same bookstore like 3 months ago...I think to myself that's not too bad (not great) so I go to the bookstore to hand in my book.
I go in and stand in line for 20 minutes only to be told by that fat Asian bitch who's always there with a smile that I'm in the wrong line and basically laughing at me while telling me to look where the yellow sign. Never mind a) I've always gone there for buybacks before b) The big yellow sign she's pointing two is pointing at the line I was in and NOT an alternate line across the room.
So I line up and wait another 10min while people bring in 4-5 books compared to my single book. I hear all sorts of numbers under $20 and think to myself...wtf. The most obivous WTF goes to the girl ahead of me who the bookstore offered to give her $2 for a book she paid $25 for over the summer...Which would be ok I guess if they were selling the used book for $5 but no they are selling it for $18 + taxes inside...WTF.
So I get up there and the lady is nice enough...thanks me for showing my student card unlike everyone else in the line....then it comes...we'll give you $16.50....I was actually stunned for about 10 seconds before I sputtered out a no thanks and took off. She was kind enough to tell me to try again in the winter maybe and they got a order from a wholesaler (so I guess due to the huge volume of new books they are dropping their prices to meet stagnant demand right and why bother even buying back used books at all).
The whole thing smacks of a huge moneygrab by a company worse than microsoft or walmart that already has students by the nutz or eggs. The fact that their website is purposely innacurate just earned them an angry email from me to the bbb. I'm glad I'm no longer dealing with that PoS place. |

Those "clean" and "safe" nuclear commercials I see on tv make me PMSL /lol
I also started out hating Chill Town on Big Brother All Stars...now I think they are pretty funny because they are more comical evil than sinister evil....just like me!

In other newz in celebration of the anniversary of the Quiet Revolution I've decided to up my computer budget to 1.3k...512mb vid card, 250gb hard drive, 3.2 chip, 1gb ram, with a nice clear sided case, and a glow in the dark power supply.
Tracy's mom has always said if I couldn't be a part of the greatest, I should be the greatest myself.

I'm actually turning out to be a superior geographer than historian and I'm not sure whether to be pleased or not...91 and 80 % respectively on my first two tests!
I finally found a book I had been looking for since high school...I actually found out there is more than 1 and it will cost less than $15 for 3 of them in a boxed set!
I'm made two important decisions in my life:
1) For graduation I want a hate like Sean Connery's from TLXG

I'm sick and tired of the so called "Canadians" in Lebanon who are moaning and bitching about the slow evacuation process...your halfway around the world, in a fucking warzone, there are 20,000 of you and you went there by choice. The government doesen't even have enough $$$ to pony up decent planes for the armed forces and you f$%^s are complaining that the evacution was ill prepared...at least you got out and for the one woman who said she wished she was back in Lebanon, go back you fu%^ing tool:

I have no problem with people who want to come here, put down roots, learn one of 2 languages,pay taxes, and have loyalty to their new country. My problem is with dumb farks and their children who's only loyalty is to the "homeland", profess how crappy this country is and how great the old country is...strange why did your parents leave if things were so great and why are you still here...U of T is rife with these people and they come from all walks of life: Syria, Poland, US, Iran, China, Britain.
Why don't you move your pathetic asses back there as there are plenty of good hard working people who would be willing to come to Canada, make this country their own, and contribute positively to its growth. |

I was having a huge problem with my computer again today...all my videos were only showing up in black and white...but were in colour on my tv. Spent about 4-5 hours trying to figure out what the problem was until I realized....all my video codex had been deleted during the great migration! I also re-installed the ONLY video driver that I have considering all my old ones had been deleted.
Holywood has been stepping it up slightly by coming out with movies I actually want to see...crap like Little Man still shakes my faith.
I really need to crack down and finish my assignment for Geography...I'm really excited about this class and I haven't learned this much since Poli Sci back up at LU. It's just changing my whole perspective on Canada.
I think I'm going to move to Argentina or Chile when I graduate and bring Tracy with...if I move to Costa Rica though I want to go alone. |

I experienced the worst computer disaster ever on my system yesterday. My whole C drive was corrupted and I had to format it clean and re-install windows twice...took me literally from 12 noon to just now to get it to 30% of where my comp was at 3 days ago. My music collection is gone, my seksi Tracy pictures are gone, and I still have a shitload of installing minor programs.
3 other interesting things happened today:
1) A hawk is living in the big tree out front...it looked like it caught a sealgull because there were a shitload of gull feathers around the front lawn that looked like they had been torn out in a fight.
2) Saw the movie Greed with MJF...they cut out none of the swearing, but cut out the phrase "I'm richer than God"
3) A degree in developing countries goes a lot further, Canadian multiculturalism is contradictory, and Canada itself is an artifical nation. |

This big ass fly has been flying around my room for the past 2 days...about 4min ago I waited until it was coming towards me and managed to catch the bugger in my hand!!!
Today I realized why Tracy wants me to bear her 13 babies and why I can't responsibly do this...with her inherent meaness and my cat like agility they would be the greatest military force since the Mongol Horde! |
